JUMP START is a collaborative effort between the Vilas County Health Department and Feed Our Rural Kids in order to  provide increased levels of fruits and vegetables, fresh, canned, or frozen to families who have registered and qualify for Women, Infants and Children (WIC) support.

The program is administered by the Vilas County Health Department  and funded by FORK.

Families who are registered for this program will continue to receive this benefit so long as their economic situation remains unchanged, their home address remains within the jurisdiction of FORK,  or their child comes of the age to attend school.
