During the month of August, all Eagle River financial institutions will come together in support of feeding children from food insecure homes through their participation in the 2nd annual CashFORKids fundraiser.

An in-school resource starting in August 2021 to aid hungry children during the school day and provide a year-round, 5 day a week, access point for food support to parents or guardians.

Feed Our Rural Kids (FORK)

The mission of Feed Our Rural Kids (FORK) has been, from the beginning, to provide nutritional support to children from food insecure homes within eastern and central Vilas County.

FORK announces a $1,000,000 Capital Campaign. With your help, the Tomorrow’s Kids Endowment Fund will help FORK keep its promise to the children who are hungry today and those kids who will be hungry tomorrow.

It costs $3.55 to feed a child one meal in Vilas County. That is 28% more than the average cost of that same meal's cost calculated as an average within Wisconsin as a whole.
