As the year comes to a close, many people take the time to consider which charity/charities, both local and national, are worthy of their support. For nonprofit organizations like Feed Our Rural Kids (FORK), the donations they receive during this end of year window define for the organization what will be possible in the year ahead.

Nothing happens without the generosity of local families, businesses, and organizations,” explained FORK President Perry Pokrandt.

2021 saw the expansion of FORK nutritional support programs into the Phelps school district as well as the implementation of a newly created Children’s Pantry program within the elementary schools located in Eagle River, St. Germain, Land O’ Lakes and Phelps.

The year ahead holds exciting possibilities, with additional expansions being discussed and planned for in the months ahead,” continued Pokrandt. “Therefore, end -of- year giving will more clearly set our path forward.
