It is time again for members of the community to nominate the person, organization, or business they believe has done the most to mitigate childhood food insecurity within the Northland Pines, Three Lakes, or Phelps school districts.
Between now and Nov. 14, Feed Our Rural Kids (FORK) is accepting nominations for its 2023 Crimson FORK Award.
“Through the Crimson FORK Award, FORK wants to recognize those with the biggest heart and commitment to the welfare of children,” explained Crimson FORK Chairperson Scott Foster. “This award is to recognize non-monetary efforts that make a difference in the lives of children. We are looking for those, other than FORK, who are committed to pushing back against food insecurity in this area.”
Previous winners of the Crimson FORK award include the Vilas County News-Review, Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, and Betsy Spencer.
