Fork Donation Great Escape

Several volunteers and sponsors came together at the Great Escape Nov. 25 to make the 2023 Breakfast with Santa successful in its fundraising efforts. The event raised $1,502 that was donated to Feed Our Rural Kids (FORK). The event sold 75 breakfast plates, in addition to the number of adults and children that came just to visit with Santa. FORK representative Perry Pokrandt noted that the organization could not do what it does without the type of community based support. Great Escape business owners Tracy and Joe Bostwick (right) presented the check to FORK Team Chairperson Mindy Wessel and FORK volunteer John Wessel.
