The Northlife Church, St. Germain campus, will host a women’s conference Saturday, Oct. 7, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Uriah Schwartz will represent the Women’s Ministry of Northlife Church.
The event will feature worship and video teaching from the Gospel Coalition’s “Remember Your Joy” conference.
In lieu of admission, the ministry is asking that individuals planning to attend bring nonperishable items, soup especially, or financial donations for the Feed Our Rural Kids (FORK) program, which helps feed local kids.
Organizers said that the Women’s Ministry made the decision to partner with FORK for this ministry because the organization feels that caring for the vulnerable populations is something that Jesus was passionate about.
