Eagle Baking Co. in Eagle River is offering a Pizza Pie Promotion to benefit Feed Our Rural Kids (FORK) from now through at least the end of the month.

“Everyone loves pizza, especially one that is homemade with love,” said Eagle Baking Co. owner Jo Buck. “That is why Eagle Baking is so excited to announce that we will be donating $1 from the sale of every pizza to FORK.”

FORK President Perry Pokrandt expressed his gratitude to Eagle Baking and other local businesses that have stepped up to support FORK programs.

“FORK is grateful to local businesses in our community who find creative ways to stand with FORK, stand with the kids,” Pokrandt said. “Plus, we love pizza too, and this is a great chance for area residents to enjoy a tasty hot pizza and know they are helping children from food insecure homes.”

Buck explained that the bakery’s newest offering start with a 14-inch homemade herb and garlic hand-tossed crust which is then topped with homemade sauce and a choice of toppings.

The family-owned and operated bakery in downtown Eagle River offers pizza selection made to taste and available for pick-up daily between 4 and 8 p.m.

“Helping kids, helping FORK just seems like the right thing to do,” Buck said. “What better way to kick off the holiday season.”
