FORK has been busy for the last six months

Letter to the Editor:

This Saturday is a big day for Feed Our Rural Kids (FORK) as we release the second edition of our bi-annual newsletter.

I guess you might call it the “Readers Digest” version of all that FORK has been up to over these last six months, with a small peek at the months ahead.

When I finished the copy for this edition, I sent an email to each of the members of the FORK board of directors. My note was simple: “Just finished the final draft for our upcoming newsletter . . . boy have we been busy.”

I hope you might consider signing up for our e-newsletter and learning more about FORK and our mission to feed children from food insecure homes in the Northland Pines School District.

To register, you simply need to go to FeedOurRuralKids.org.

Your becoming informed is the first step toward FORK building a community in which hunger does not stand in the way of success for any child.
